The colors chosen for the letters spelling out One Church are significant as well. O N E are in 3 letters in white representing the trinity (Father Son Holy Spirit) while the C H U R C H is made up of diverse colors reflecting the diversity of the body of Christ.

Cultural Inspiration
Same Team is inspired by New York playground basketball. When playing basketball many times two teammates may chase after the ball and end up colliding because they each may have thought the other was from the opposing team and end up losing the ball to the opposing team as a result. To prevent this from taking place one teammate would call out “same team” which translates into ”hey I am not the enemy, we don’t have to fight over this.“ This allows one teammate to gain possession of the ball and the other to refocus on how to best help the team.

Biblical Inspiration
God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He loves you. So you should always clothe yourselves with mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you. 14 Even more than all this, clothe yourself in love. Love is what holds you all together in perfect unity. Let the peace that Christ gives control your thinking, because you were all called together in one body[d] to have peace. Always be thankful.
